March’s Lawyers Lend A Hand project is scheduled for Thursday, March 25th at 5:00 PM. We will meet at the Wayne Township Office in West Chicago. We have been asked to assist with assembling Easter baskets for their seniors. The office is located at 27W031 North Avenue. Use the back entrance near the garage.
On THURSDAY, April 22nd, we will meet at 5:00 PM at the Northern Illinois Food Bank located at 600 Industrial Drive in St. Charles. The project entails labeling, stacking and packaging food for the needy. Wear warehouse type clothes, no sandals or heels. Friends and family are welcome (no children under 14). Directions are easy. North Ave. westbound to Industrial Drive (called Dunham to the north) turn left (west) to 600 Industrial Drive.
The MAY project is scheduled for THURSDAY, May 20th at 5:00 PM. We will visit the DuPage County Convalescent Center. Our group will meet in the center’s recreation room. The volunteer coordinator, Lynda Gray, will order pizza and beverages for the residents and our group will serve and visit with the residents. Funding for this event is provided by the DuPage Bar Foundation, Friends and family are welcome to join us.
